Boston area consumer prices rose 1.4 % over the year ending May 2013

New York-New Jersey:

The May New York CPI inched up 0.1% over the month and rose 1.4% over the year

Mid-Atlantic:

Washington area prices were down 0.2% from March to May but 1.2% higher over the year

Southeast:

Consumer prices in the South unchanged in May; up 1.3% over the year

Midwest:

Chicago area consumer prices rose 0.5 percent in May 2013

Southwest:

Dallas area consumer prices fall 0.4% in April and May; up 1.6% over the year

Mountain-Plains:

Midwest CPI up 0.5 percent in May, led by a 5.3-percent increase in motor fuel prices

West:

San Francisco area prices increased 2.4% from April 2012 to April 2013
