Real average hourly earnings remain unchanged in July 2014

In July 2014, real average hourly earnings for all employees were unchanged from June, seasonally adjusted. This result stems from unchanged average hourly earnings, combined with a 0.1-percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U).

From July 2013 to July 2014, real average hourly earnings were unchanged, seasonally adjusted. The unchanged real average hourly earnings, combined with a 0.3-percent increase in the average workweek, resulted in a 0.3-percent increase in real average weekly earnings over this period.
