National Compensation Measures

The National Compensation Survey (NCS) produces the Employment Cost Index, which measures changes in labor costs. Employer Costs for Employee Compensation series measures average hourly costs for employee compensation. The NCS also provides benefits data on the percentage of workers with access to and participating in employer-provided benefits.
