Employer costs for employee compensation $35.27 per hour in New England

Total employer compensation costs for private industry workers averaged $30.32 per hour worked in September 2014. By region, average employer costs for employee compensation ranged from $24.29 per hour in the East South Central states to $35.27 per hour in the New England states.
