93 percent of managers and 46 percent of service workers had paid sick leave benefits in March 2017

Sixty-eight percent of private industry workers received paid sick leave benefits from their employers in March 2017. Ninety-three percent of workers in management, business, and financial occupations received sick leave benefits. This compares with 46 percent of workers in service occupations and 47 percent of workers in construction, extraction, farming, fishing, and forestry occupations.

Seventy-six percent of private industry workers received paid vacations from their employers in March 2017. Ninety-seven percent of workers in management, business, and financial occupations received vacation benefits, compared with 52 percent of workers in service occupations.

The share of workers receiving paid holidays in March 2017 was similar to the share receiving paid vacations. Seventy-seven percent of workers in private industry received paid holidays. Ninety-seven percent of workers in management, business, and financial occupations received paid holidays, compared with 50 percent of workers in service occupations.
