Compensation costs for service occupations increased 3.7 percent from June 2018 to June 2019

Compensation costs for private industry workers increased 2.6 percent from June 2018 to June 2019. Compensation costs for service occupations rose 3.7 percent, the largest increase of any private industry occupational group. The smallest increase in compensation costs was 2.1 percent in natural resources, construction, and maintenance occupations.
