86 percent of full-time employees had access to sick leave benefits in March 2022

In March 2022, personal leave benefits were available to 33 percent of those employed at smaller establishments (1 to 49 workers), while personal leave was available to 61 percent of employees at larger establishments (500 workers or more).

Sick leave was available to 70 percent of employees at smaller establishments and 91 percent of employees at larger establishments.

Six percent of part-time private industry employees had access to childcare benefits, as did 12 percent of full-time employees. Twenty-four percent of part-time employees had access to employer-provided healthcare benefits, while 87 percent of full-time employees had access. Fifty-one percent of part-time employees had access to sick leave benefits, while 86 percent of full-time employees had access.
