The number of quits in health care and social assistance increased from 370,000 in December 2017 to 500,000 in December 2018, an increase of 130,000, or 35 percent. In construction, the number of quits increased from 152,000 to 204,000, an increase of 52,000, or 34 percent. The number of quits in accommodation and food services increased by 31,000, from 611,000 to 642,000, an increase of 5 percent.
