Taking a look at New Year's resolutions

Happy New Year! With 2020 in the books, many people are aiming to start 2021 on the right foot by improving their lifestyle. Wanting to lose weight is a common resolution people make on New Year’s Day, as they begin to focus on their diet. Let’s look at changes in consumer prices over the past year for some of the foods many of us may have enjoyed a bit too much over the holiday season.

Consumer prices for snacks increased 3.5 percent from November 2019 to November 2020, while prices for frozen and refrigerated bakery products, pies, tarts, and turnovers decreased 0.5 percent.
