Import prices for industrial supplies and materials fell 7.2 percent over the year ended November 2023, marking their 11th consecutive 12-month decline. Among industrial supplies and materials imports, prices for fuels and lubricants decreased 10.3 percent and prices for materials associated with nondurable supplies and materials decreased 9.0 percent.
From November 2022 to November 2023, U.S. export prices fell 5.2 percent as agricultural export prices decreased 10.5 percent and nonagricultural export prices decreased 4.5 percent. The 10.5-percent decline in agricultural export prices was their largest 12-month drop since a 10.7-percent decrease from March 2015 to March 2016.

Over the year ended November 2023, foods, feeds, and beverages export prices fell 11.4 percent and industrial supplies and materials export prices fell 12.3 percent. The 11.4-percent decline in prices for foods, feeds, and beverages exports was their largest 12-month drop since a 12.9-percent decrease from January 2015 to January 2016.
