U.S. nut exports are primarily made up of hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, and almonds, with California producing approximately 80 percent of the world’s almond supply. Along with nut prices, a 10.7-percent drop in soybeans prices also contributed to the decrease in overall agricultural export prices from November 2017 to November 2018.
