Foreign-born men who were Hispanic or Latino had higher labor force participation rates in 2021 than native-born Hispanic or Latino men. Conversely, native-born Hispanic or Latino women had higher labor force participation rates than foreign-born Hispanic or Latino women.

On an average day in 2021, native-born Hispanics or Latinos spent more time in leisure and sports (5.2 hours) than did foreign-born Hispanics or Latinos (4.3 hours). Foreign-born Hispanic or Latino men spent 5.2 hours doing work and work-related activities while native-born Hispanic or Latino men spent 4.4 hours doing so.
