Briefing on Results of BLS Practices and Procedures Review

In September 2024, a Team of Experts was established to review the Bureau of Labor Statistics practices and procedures following recent concerns about the timing of public data releases and communications with data users. The Team of Experts recently submitted their final report with recommendations to improve BLS data release processes and information sharing.

BLS will hold a briefing to summarize the report’s findings on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm ET. The briefing will be hosted by BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer.
