Corrections to Current Employment Statistics Data

Estimates of women employees in three retail trade industries–other home furnishings stores, family clothing stores, and general merchandise stores–and some related series from the Current Employment Statistics survey were temporarily removed from the BLS data-retrieval system on December 12, 2012. BLS staff identified data-processing errors that occurred during the April 2011–November 2012 period and resulted in an incorrect ratio of women employees to all employees. Corrected data was published with annual benchmark release on February 1, 2013.
