Corrections to Major Sector Multifactor Productivity Data

Multifactor productivity data for the private business and private nonfarm business sectors were corrected July 9, 2014. Capital income and labor compensation were incorrectly calculated for the period 1987 to 1989.  Additionally the capital hours ratio for the private nonfarm business sector was affected in 1987.

Only data for 1987 to 1989 were affected-measures for all other years were correct as published April 3, 2014. The following LABSTAT data series were affected and corrected on July 9, 2014.
