Data for independent contractors include the incorporated and unincorporated self-employed; these groups, however, are excluded from the data for workers with other alternative and traditional arrangements. Full- or part-time status is determined by hours usually worked at sole or primary job. Persons whose ethnicity is identified as Hispanic or Latino may be of any race.
