Conference Overview:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) will host a Data Users Conference at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center at Alabama and Forsyth Streets in downtown Atlanta on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. BLS program experts will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss all BLS programs. The Conference starts at 9:00 a.m. and will highlight the Bureau's new Occupational Requirements Survey (ORS) and the BLS National Compensation Survey (NCS).
Special guest speakers for the Conference will be Dr. Erica Groshen, Commissioner, Bureau of Labor Statistics, US Department of Labor, and Deborah Harkin, Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Disability Policy, Social Security Administration.
We invite you to come early and talk with BLS program experts. This Conference is open to anyone interested in learning about the BLS measures of total compensation, wages and benefits.

What are my transportation/parking options getting to the event?
The Five Points Marta station is conveniently located across the street from the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center. Exit toward either Alabama or Forsyth. There is a parking lot beside the building on Alabama Street and other parking lots in close proximity to the building.
Does the building require a security screening?
Yes, the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center is a federal building, and individuals entering the building must submit to a security screening. Please bring a photo ID and remember that no weapons will be allowed on the premises.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, it is not necessary to bring your ticket to the event, but it could expedite your entry upon arrival.
