The electricity index decreased 0.7 percent in July after increasing 0.9 percent in June.

The shelter index increased 0.4 percent in July as the index for owners' equivalent rent increased 0.5 percent, and rent increased 0.4 percent.
The index for motor vehicle insurance increased 2.0 percent in July after rising 1.7 percent the preceding month.
The index for new vehicles decreased 0.1 percent in July following no change in June.
The index for used cars and trucks decreased 1.3 percent in July following a decrease of 0.5 percent in June.
The index for medical care decreased 0.2 percent in July following no change in June.
