COUNTY EMPLOYMENT AND WAGES FULL DATA UPDATE
Second Quarter 2021


The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) updated the full Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages 
(QCEW) database through the second quarter of 2021. Links to updated databases, files, and tables can 
be found at www.bls.gov/web/cewdat.supp.toc.htm. Interactive chart data have been updated with 
additional detail provided at www.bls.gov/charts/county-employment-and-wages/county-employment-
by-industry.htm.

This update includes data previously issued with the County Employment and Wages news release for 
the second quarter of 2021.

The County Employment and Wages release for third quarter 2021 is scheduled to be released on 
Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (ET).

The County Employment and Wages full data update for third quarter 2021 is scheduled to be 
released on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (ET).
