COUNTY EMPLOYMENT AND WAGES FULL DATA UPDATE
Third Quarter 2024

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) updated the full Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages
(QCEW) database through the third quarter of 2024. Links to updated databases, files, and tables can
be found at www.bls.gov/web/cewdat.supp.toc.htm. Interactive chart data have been updated with
additional detail provided at www.bls.gov/charts/county-employment-and-wages/county-employment-by-
industry.htm.

This update includes data previously issued with the County Employment and Wages news release for
the third quarter of 2024.

		Resumption of Publication of Colorado Employment and Wage Data
		
	On November 20, 2024, the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) suspended 
	publication of industry and substate data for Colorado due to data quality concerns. These
	quality concerns were due to ongoing issues with the modernization of the state’s unemployment
	insurance (UI) system. The quality concerns with Colorado data have been sufficiently addressed
	to resume publication. On February 19, 2025, QCEW resumed publication of substate and
	industry employment and wage data for Colorado. For more information, see www.bls.gov/cew/

The County Employment and Wages release for fourth quarter 2024 is scheduled to be released on
Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (ET).

The County Employment and Wages full data update for fourth quarter 2024 is scheduled to be released
on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (ET).
