Corrected Supplemental Poverty Measure Thresholds
BLS discovered errors in the calculation of Supplemental Poverty Measure (SPM) thresholds, stemming from methodology changes introduced in 2021, which affected the 2019 and 2020 estimates. BLS is reissuing SPM thresholds from 2019 to 2024 to correct these errors.
The corrected SPM thresholds along with standard errors of differences and threshold shares for 2019 through 2024 are available:
