Each year with the release of the January CPI, seasonal adjustment factors are recalculated to reflect price movements from the just-completed calendar year. This routine annual recalculation may result in revisions to seasonally adjusted indexes for the previous 5 years. Recalculated seasonally adjusted indexes as well as recalculated seasonal adjustment factors for the period January 2021 through December 2025 will be made available on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The revised indexes and seasonal factors will be available on the CPI supplemental files page and on the seasonal adjustment page.
Annual CPI files for 2025 including relative importance tables, response rate tables, and variance tables will also be made available on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
