A license is awarded by a government agency and conveys a legal authority to work in an occupation. Full time is 35 hours or more per week. Data are for wage and salary workers; all self-employed workers are excluded, both those with incorporated businesses and those with unincorporated businesses. Estimates for the above race groups (White, Black or African American, and Asian) do not sum to totals because data are not presented for all races.
