Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey

Errata: Corrections to seasonally adjusted series for 2020 as published on January 5, 2024

Some revisions of seasonally adjusted Current Population Survey (CPS) data published on January 5, 2024 were incorrect. During the annual seasonal adjustment 5-year revision, data for April 2020-December 2020, including corresponding quarterly data, were incorrectly published in the database. Historical estimates in some of the CPS interactive charts were affected, as were quarterly tables E-1, E-2, E-7, E-8, and E-10.

Additionally, some labor force status flows data for April 2020–January 2021 were incorrect in the database.

Corrections were completed on January 10, 2024. See the list of series affected by this correction.
