A044 AEROSPACE ENGINEERS
Design, develop, and test aircraft, space vehicles, surface effect vehicles, missiles, and related component systems applying engineering principles and techniques. May specialize in design and development, analytical programs, aerodynamics, etc. May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture. (Work requires knowledge of engineering equivalent to at least that acquired through completion of a 4-year college engineering program.)
