Perform a variety of engineering work in planning, designing, and directing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, water and sewage systems, and waste disposal units. (Work requires knowledge of engineering equivalent to at least that acquired through completion of a 4-year college engineering program.)
