A055 ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERS
Electrical Engineers—-Perform a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing the manufacture, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical or electronic components, equipment, systems, facilities and machinery. These components are used in the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial, or industrial consumption.

Electronic Engineers—-Conduct research and development concerned with the design and manufacture of electronic components, products, and systems and their application to commercial, industrial, military, scientific, and medical equipment processes.

(Work requires knowledge equivalent to at least that acquired through completion of a 4-year college engineering program.)
