Apply physics and engineering principles for the generation, integration, transmission, and utilization of heat and mechanical power. Plan and design tools, engines, machines and other mechanically functioning equipment, and oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of such equipment, including centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems.
(Work requires knowledge equivalent to at least that acquired through completion of a 4-year college engineering program.)
