Conduct research and prepare details for trial preparation. Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit. May represent client in court, or before quasi-judicial or administrative agency of government. May specialize in a single area of law such as patent law, corporate law, criminal law, probate law (wills), real estate law, etc. Include District Attorney.
