Include workers with backgrounds in electrical or electronic theory, physical science, and mathematics which enable them to perform jobs above the routine operating or maintenance levels. Such occupations are engaged in constructing, repairing, testing, installing, modifying, operating, diagnosing, or even designing a variety of production or experimental types of complex electrical or electronic equipment and machinery under supervision of professional engineers or scientists. Include Research and Development Technicians, Telecommunications Technicians, etc.
