Personnel Managers—-Plan and carry out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity. Recruit, interview and select employees to fill vacant positions. Keep records of insurance coverage, pension plans and personnel transactions. Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Prepare budget of personnel operations. Include Training Director, and Wage and Salary Administrator.

Labor Relations Managers—-Manage labor relations program of establishment. Analyze text of collective bargaining agreement and develop interpretation of intent, spirit and terms of contract to counsel management in development and application of labor relations policies and practices. Represent management in labor contract negotiations and grievance procedures.
