Process orders for materials or merchandise received by mail, telephone, fax, or personally from customer or company employee. Edit orders received for price and nomenclature. Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer, using mail or telephone. Prepare order form and compute total cost for customer. Record or file copies of orders received. May ascertain credit rating of customer. Include Customer Service Representative, Catalogue Clerk, Order Clerk.
