Exclude Apprentices (E569) and Helpers (H866).
Perform the carpentry duties necessary to construct, erect, install, maintain, and repair wood structures and fixtures in an establishment, performing such duties as making and repairing counters, benches, partitions, floors, doors and building framework. May specialize in certain phases of carpentry, such as finishing, rough framing or construction of concrete forms. May cut, fit, install and repair timbers underground to support walls and roofs and may be designated Timberperson. May construct and maintain items such as wooden bodies of mine cars, bins and flumes. May be designated according to specialty such as Ship's Carpenter, Finish Carpenter, Framing Carpenter, etc.
