Include workers in occupations involved in the precision inspecting and testing of parts, products and equipment for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications, and in some cases grading the parts or products. Most of these occupations involve the use of precision measuring instruments, complex test equipment, and hand tools. In some cases these occupations involve adjusting or repairing parts, products, and equipment used in production that do not meet standards, as well as recording or reporting the results of inspection. Inspectors that require a lesser degree of precision are classified in F796-F799. Include Airplane Inspector, Electronics Tester, Auto Tester.
