Knitting, Looping, Taping Machine Operators—-This group includes occupations concerned with the operation of machines which interlace strands of yarn or thread in a series of connected loops to make a fabric or a knitted product.

Weaving Machine Operators—-Operate battery of looms to weave yarn into cloth. Observe cloth being woven to detect weaving defects. Remove defects in cloth by cutting and pulling out filling. Adjust pattern chain to resume weaving. Examine looms to determine cause of loom stoppage, such as warp filling, harness breaks or mechanical defects.
