The Work Stoppages program provides monthly and annual data on major work stoppages involving 1,000 or more workers and lasting one full shift or longer. Available data on major work stoppages include the organization(s) and union(s) involved in the work stoppage along with the location, the industry of establishment(s) involved, the number of workers, the number of lost workdays, and the days of idleness.
