PPI SOP to FD‐ID Aggregation System Concordance

Effective with the January 2014 Producer Price Index (PPI) data release in February 2014, BLS will transition from the Stage of Processing (SOP) to the Final Demand-Intermediate Demand (FD-ID) aggregation system. All SOP indexes will remain in publication under their original series codes for a time to allow a smooth transition for PPI stakeholders. These indexes are also included in the new FD-ID system structure and can be identified using the following concordance table. Data for these indexes may be obtained through the PPI Commodity Database or by adding the prefix "WP" followed by an "S" or "U" (for seasonally adjusted or unadjusted data) to the codes below and using the BLS Series Report Tool.
