Bureau of Labor Statistics Virtual Data Users Conference — May 14, 2026

Join the Bureau of Labor Statistics Mid-Atlantic regional office on May 14 from 9:00 a.m.–12:10 p.m. eastern time for a Data Users Conference highlighting the U.S. housing market and regional trends. BLS and industry experts will showcase labor market data available to the public and provide insight on how these data can be used to analyze U.S. and local economies.

Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Senior Financial Economist ⁠Keyoung Lee will provide insight into how the single-family residential market has been affected by institutional investors.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Branch of Industry Pricing Economist Melanie Santiago will discuss recent price changes in the building inputs used in residential construction.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index Program Economist Gerald Perrins will provide the latest shelter price changes for the Mid-Atlantic area.

New Jersey’s Director for the Division of Economic & Demographic Research Dr. Nicol Nicola will explore affordability within the New Jersey housing market and housing construction trends at the state and county level.

Each presentation will be followed by a 5-minute Q & A period.
