In December, Chester County, PA, and New Castle County, DE, had the lowest unemployment rates in the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD Metropolitan Statistical Area at 2.8 percent each.

Unemployment in the Pittsburgh Area by County – December 2018

In December, Butler County had the lowest unemployment rate in the Pittsburgh, PA Metropolitan Statistical Area, at 3.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
