Sex

Options are Both sexes, Men, or Women. The options for the remaining characteristics will change to show you which data series are available.

Race

Options are All races, White, Black or African American, or Asian. The options for the remaining characteristics will change to show you which data series are available.

Ethnicity

Options are All ethnicities or Hispanic or Latino ethnicity. The options for the remaining characteristics will change to show you which data series are available.

Marital Status

Options are All marital statuses; Married, spouse present; or Other marital status (never married; married, spouse absent; divorced, separated, widowed). The options for the remaining characteristics will change to show you which data series are available.

Presence and age of own children

Options include All persons; With own children under 18; With own children 6 to 17, none younger; With own children under 6; With no own children under 18.

Labor Force Status

Options include Civilian noninstitutional population, labor force level, labor force participation rate, employment level, employment-population ratio, unemployment level, and unemployment rate.
