Expanded NAICS Indexes and Advanced Technology Indexes Now Available

Beginning with the January 2020 release of the U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes on February 14th, select indexes classified using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) were newly published at the 6-digit level of detail, expanding from the 5-digit level. The 6-digit NAICS indexes became available on the History Tables, the Index and Percent Change Tables, and accessible through the BLS Database. In addition, the BLS introduced new indexes for import and export prices covering a number of advanced technology product areas.
