Import prices down 0.1% in October on lower fuel prices; export prices increase 0.2%

U.S. import prices declined 0.1 percent in October following a 0.2-percent increase in September. Prices for exports advanced 0.2 percent in October, after rising 0.6 percent the previous month. Over the past year, import prices declined 1.0 percent and export prices fell 1.6 percent.
