Symposium marks the ILO's 75th anniversary, its work, the policy issues related to a stronger link between international trade and labor standards, and the perspectives of business and labor. This article presents a summary of the proceedings of a symposium that included U.S. and foreign government officials, academes, trade unionists, business owners and managers, and other private sector representatives who came together to consider the ILO's work and policy issues.
