Married mothers’ work patterns: the job-family compromise

Today's married mothers are twice as likely to work full time all year than their predecessors of 20 years ago. This article examines the issue of time spent in market work by looking at married mothers' work experience during 1992, as well as traces broad trends in married mothers' work experience over the past 20 years.
