Older adults in the next century will have higher levels of educational attainment and may surpass the labor force participation rates of today's older cohorts; Wisconsin's labor market illustrates why. The analysis in this article uses Wisconsin data to illustrate the affect of education on the older labor force, but the broad conclusions could be considered for the Nation as well. A comparison of population and labor force composition for Wisconsin and the United States is included.
