Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rate for adult men rose over the month to 5.4 percent in November 2014. The rates showed little change over the month for adult women (5.3 percent), teenagers (17.7 percent), Whites (4.9 percent), Blacks or African Americans (11.1 percent), and Hispanics or Latinos (6.6 percent).
