PPI for final demand up 2.8 percent for the year ended October 2017

For the 12 months ended October 2017, the Producer Price Index for final demand increased 2.8 percent (not seasonally adjusted), the largest increase since a 2.8-percent rise for the 12 months ended February 2012. The index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services advanced 2.3 percent over the past year.
