Offsite
BLS offers offsite limited access to restricted data through a Virtual Data Enclave (VDE) for two surveys:
- National Longitudinal Surveys of Youth Geocode Data
- Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries Research File
Please click on the link above for the survey data you are interested in to find more information regarding the data elements contained in each offsite file.
Access to the NLSY offsite file requires a different application process than what is required for access onsite at BLS or at an FSRDC. Information about that application process may also be found at the NLSY Geocode link above.
Applications for access to the CFOI offsite file follows the same application process as access onsite at BLS or at an FSRDC. Information about that process may be found on the Apply page.
