Notes on Federal Government Wages

Federal wage data were under-reported by one pay-period for certain workers for some of the quarters between 3rd quarter 1999 and 3rd quarter 2001 and, therefore, are not directly comparable to wage data for later quarters. Employment data are unaffected.
