American Time Use - Field Definitions

Type of Estimate

A 5-character code that identifies the type of estimate.

Time Period

A 1-character code that identifies a unit of time.

Number of Years

A 2-character code that identifies the number of years of data that were used to generate each estimate in the data series.

Character

A 6-character code that identifies a combination of characteristics associated with a data series. For example, day of week, labor force status, sex, age, etc.
